2013 Sophomore Coil Sculpture 26 in x18 in The assignment was to create a coil sculpture that represented the human body in someway.

2013 Sophomore Historical Vessel 12 in x6 in The assignment was to take three different Vessel techniques and styles from three different places dated pre 1500 and combine them into one vessel. I used coil building for the body and slaps for the handle.

2013 Sophomore What is Home 12 in x 6 in The assignment was to create a sculpture that represents what home is to you. My home is my island, so I made a lighthouse onto of rocks with all the different things you would find in the ocean, washed ashore. I made the lighthouse wobbly and not even to show that my family isn't perfect but we still stand strong. I made the rocks using the pinch pot technique. The different layers on the lighthouse was made on the wheel.

2012 Sophomore Winter Glove 16 in x10 in Our teacher put a glove in the middle of the room and had all of us in a circle around it. We spent four classes sculpting the clay to look exactly like the glove in our class.

2011 Freshmen Apples Using Plaster I made a mold of an apple. The assignment was to make three hollow apples out of clay using the molds we made from the plaster.

2010 Senior Hand Mirror 14 in x 14 in High Fire Glaze I casted my hand in plaster. Using that mold I made 6 hands and assembled it into a circle. After being bisqued I painted it with high fire glaze. When out of the kiln, I finished it off with adding a mirror behind it.

2009 Junior Sushi Plates 3 in x 3 in x 3 in & 2 in x 2 in x 2 in High Fire Glaze I cut two squares out of a slab of clay. I then made eight little legs and attached them. After that I pressed in the middle of each plate, so there was a small dip. After being bisqued I ripped triangles out of paper, put them on the plate, painted over them with high fire gaze and then took off the paper.

2009 Junior Modern Flower Vase 7 in x 3 in x 3 in High Fire Glaze I cut out the shape I wanted for the front and then a rectangle that was longer then the hight of the first shape. I attached the four sides and then made a square for the bottom. After bisquing I Painted it with high fire glaze.

2009 Junior Square Box 5 in x 5 in x 5 in High Fire & Low Fire Glaze I cut 5 squares from a slab of clay and attached them all. Before bisqueing I painting a stripe on the stop with low fire white glaze then carved into it. After bisqueing I painted it with high fire glaze.

2008 Sophomore Mobby Dick Boat 2 in x 8 in x 3 in Low Fire Glaze The people and oars are bent and hammered out of wire. The harpoon was made out of an old paint brush. I pulled out the hair part on the brush and replaced it with an arrow that I made out of wire. I think glued rope around the end of the paint brush and attached the other end to the knob on the back of the boat. I even added bent wires onto the boat so the oars had a place to stay.

2008 Sophomore Mobby Dick Boat 2 in x 8 in x 3 in Low Fire Glaze Cut all of the shapes needed for the boat out of a slab of clay. I then attached all of them, and put holes where needed and put on poles where needed. When looking closely you can see that every detail is the exact same to the boat used in Mobby Dick. After getting every last detail to look the way I wanted, I bisqued it, and then painted it with a low fire glaze.

2007 Freshmen Giraff piggy bank 6 in x 8 in x 6 in Low Fire Glaze For this piece I made two deep, free form bowls. I then attached both to create a hollow body. I then created all the other body parts and attached them. When it was done in bisquing, I painted it with low fire glaze.

2007 Freshmen Hollow Bird 2 in x 3 in x 2 in Low Fire Glaze I started making a tiny bowl, pinching it in at the top till it created a sphere. I then did the same thing for the head. I left a small hole in both the head and the body and to create space for the air to move around when in the kiln. After the head was attached I put a tiny hole at the bottom of the bird and then attached all the other body parts, tale, eyes and beak. After bisqued, I painted it with low fire glaze.

2007 Freshmen Turtle 1/4 in x 2 in x 2 in Low Fire Glaze This piece was actually a collaboration between my friend and I. He created the turtle and I painted it with low fire glaze. He made it for me because of my pet turtle named Pickles.

2007 Freshmen Cat-In-The-Hat Flower Vase 7 in x 3 in x 3 in Low Fire Glaze I started making a bowl, pinching it in at the top till it created a sphere with a small opening at the top. I then cut a triangle out of a slab of clay. I attached two ends to make a cylinder and then attached it to the sphere. I then pinched the top of the cylinder to make it flare out. When it came out of the bisque I painted it with low fire glaze.
